Kid Radd is an animated pseudo-sprite comic that ran from February 2002 until September 2004.
This is an online mirror uploaded by JTE. The comic is available here in its original downloadable format, with minimal changes solely to enhance modern browser compatibility.
Some pieces may still be broken, particularly the non-bonus comics that have music... But everything else should be functional. You can finally read the whole comic again, yes?
This comic requires JavaScript for a quantifiable number of the animations to run, please enable it if you can. I know the whole thing doesn't clearly break right from the start, but you seriously will end up getting nonsensical crap in place of well-planned animations at one point or another, and totally miss out on a lot of the fun here.
Firefox users: There is a minimum font size restriction enabled in your browser by default. Please go into Options -> Content -> Advanced and set the minimum font size to 9 or below, else the comic viewer may be disrupted by needlessly oversized text.
Otherwise, I totally recommend anything that isn't IE or Google Chrome. IE should be able to run the three extras music videos, but I haven't fixed it for everything yet.
This comic uses the font VAG Rundschrift D pretty heavily, so you might want to install that before viewing for optimal enjoyment.
Also check out the music directory for some official-type Kid Radd tunes and sfx. The stuff in the JTE folder was made by me, the rest was by Mark Hadley, aka Parsec.
A significantly upgraded comic viewer (which hopefully works on phones and such) may be available at some point. For now I've been working on replacing the old midi music with small (<1MB) ogg streams. Turns out midi music embedded in webpages doesn't work in the future. So far I've got the three music videos on the extras page done, please enjoy.
